Prof. Tariq Waseem Delivers Key Talk at Diabetes and Diabetic Foot Conference in Karachi
The Pakistan Society of Internal Medicine (PSIM) proudly highlights the contribution of Prof. Tariq Waseem, Senior Vice President (Research), PSIM, who was recently invited as a distinguished speaker at the Conference on Diabetes and Diabetic Foot organized by the Baqai Institute of Diabetes & Endocrinology (BIDE), Karachi.
Prof. Waseem delivered an insightful presentation on “Phosphodiesterase 5 Inhibitors (PDE5i) in Clinical Settings – Expanding Horizons.” His talk focused on the evolving role of PDE5 inhibitors, not only in their traditional use but also in exploring newer therapeutic indications across various clinical scenarios. He emphasized the importance of evidence-based application, ongoing research, and the potential for expanding clinical benefits of PDE5i beyond their conventional scope.
