Prof. Bashir Ahmed Khukro is a Professor of Medicine and Incharge of the Medical ICU and Medical Unit-IV at PUMHSW Nawabshah, as well as Head of the People’s Institute of Diabetes & Endocrinology (PIDE). Holding an MBBS, FCPS (Medicine), and Diplomas in Diabetes and Andrology, he has over 20 years of academic and clinical experience. His areas of expertise include critical care, diabetes management, hepatology, and infectious diseases. Actively engaged in postgraduate teaching, research supervision, and curriculum development, he is dedicated to advancing ethical, evidence-based, and skill-oriented medical practice. As Chapter Head of PSIM, he strives to promote collaboration, continuing medical education, and policy advocacy for internal medicine in Pakistan.
