Professor Khalid Masood Gondal is a distinguished Pakistani surgeon and medical educator, renowned for his significant contributions to medical education and healthcare in Pakistan. Born on April 17, 1962, in Wara Alam Shah, Mandi Bahauddin, he graduated from King Edward Medical College, Lahore, in 1986. He completed his Fellowship in Surgery in 1992 and has held prominent positions, including Chairman of the Department of Surgery at King Edward Medical University (KEMU) and Vice-Chancellor of KEMU from June 2018 to June 2022. Since July 2022, he has served as the Vice-Chancellor of Fatima Jinnah Medical University, Lahore. In March 2023, he was appointed President of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP). His dedication to medical education has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2013 and the Pride of Performance Award in 2021
