With a strong focus on utilizing information technology, Dr. Zaki has made significant contributions in the fields of Digital Health, Patient Safety, Health Research, Healthcare Leadership, and Lifestyle & Integrative Medicine.
Currently, Dr. Zaki holds several prestigious positions, including Adjunct Professor of Digital Health at HSA, Visiting Professor at King Edward Medical University, and Convenor of Digital Health Pakistan. He is also the Managing Editor of the Journal of Healthcare Quality & Safety, Editor of BMJ Open Quality Riphah Pakistan Edition, and Director of the Riphah Institute of Healthcare Improvement & Safety. As a pioneer in Telemedicine, Dr. Zaki has played a pivotal role in shaping the digital health landscape, both regionally and globally. His expertise in patient safety and healthcare quality led to the establishment of the region’s first institute dedicated to these causes.
