Dr. Sobhya Karamullah

Dr. Sobhya Karamullah, MBBS (LUMHS), FCPS (Medicine), [MRCP (UK)] is a Consultant Physician and Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Liaquat University of medical & health sciences, Jamshoro. With over 16 years of experience, is a dedicated academician and clinician, specialized in managing complex medical conditions including but not limited to Diabetes, Hypertension, Stroke, and so on.

As an advocate for evidence-based medicine and passionate about research and medical education, she has contributed significantly to the fields through published research on anaemia in diabetes, Vitamin D in Covid pneumonia, SGLT2I role in HF, etc as well as courses like CHPE (certificate in health professional education) and AIE (artificial intelligence in education). Her most prominent service was being a frontliner/team leader at medical ICU of LUH, Hyderabad during peak Covid period.
