Dr. Santosh Kumar is a distinguished Professor of Internal Medicine in LUMHS, HOD MEDICAL DEPARTMENT, with over 25 years of expertise in clinical care, medical education, and research. Holding prestigious qualifications, including FCPS, MBBS, MACP, and FRCP, FPSIM, Dr. Kumar is a recognized leader in the field of Internal Medicine. He has contributed to over 35 peer-reviewed publications and has played a significant role in the advancement of medical education and community health. Dr. Kumar has also been instrumental in organizing more than 130 medical camps and promoting public health initiatives. He is a certified supervisor and examiner for postgraduate programs, having mentored numerous scholars in their academic pursuits. In his current role as a co-chair at the PSIM Scientific Session, Dr. Kumar aims to delve into crucial topics, such as the management of hyponatremia and the significance of sleep in patient outcomes, engaging with the intellectual community in the medical field to advance clinical practices. His work in both diagnostics and therapeutic interventions ensures that he remains at the forefront of evolving medical standards.
