Dr. Muhammad Mehmood Riaz

Dr. Mehmood Riaz is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Consultant Rheumatologist at the ga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, with extensive clinical experience and qualifications, including FRCP London, FCPS (MED -PK), and SCE Rheumatology UK. He completed his MBBS at Nishtar Medical College, followed by fellowships in Medicine at the Aga Khan University, rheumatology training at the Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, UK and later at the National University Hospital, Singapore. Dr. Riaz has published more than 30 scientific articles in national and international journals, contributing significantly to the field of rheumatology. His research focuses on inflammatory arthritis like RA, Connective Tissue Diseases like SLE and improving the physical and mental outcome of patients with autoimmune rheumatic diseases. Dr. Riaz is an Executive Member of the Pakistan Society for Rheumatology (PSR) and APLAR. And an international Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology (FACR) He has received awards for his outstanding teaching clinical service and research.
