Dr. Aneel Kumar is a distinguished pulmonologist with extensive experience in respiratory and critical care medicine. He earned his MBBS from Liaquat University of Medical & Health Sciences in 2009 and completed his FCPS in Pulmonology from the College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan in 2019. His postgraduate training includes a one-year internship at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), followed by two years in Internal Medicine at Ziauddin University Hospital, and a three-year FCPS-2 training in Pulmonology at JPMC.
Dr. Kumar has held several key positions, including Consultant Pulmonologist & Intensivist at Sindh Institute of Urology & Transplantation and Consultant Pulmonologist at Sindh Infectious Disease Hospital & Research Center (Dow University of Health Sciences). He currently serves as a Consultant Pulmonologist at The Kidney Centre, where he leads the Pulmonology Clinic, offering specialized care for conditions such as asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, lung fibrosis, tuberculosis, and other respiratory ailments.
Dr. Kumar's expertise encompasses bronchoscopy, pulmonary function tests, pleural procedures (including fluid drainage, biopsy, and catheter insertion), and management of mechanical ventilation. His special interests lie in critical care medicine, sleep medicine, and transplant sciences
