Dr. Akmal Faiz Bhatty

Professor Dr.Akmal Faiz Bhatty serves as the Dean Department of Medicine, Eastern Medicine and Allied Health Sciences at Qarshi University, Lahore. His headship has driven remarkable progress across the department marked by the introduction of innovative curricula with the integration of natural and modern medicine practices, the promotion of interdisciplinary collaboration, and the enhancement of research initiatives, all aimed at elevating the standards of education, clinical practice and learning experience for the students.

A graduate of King Edward Medical College, he further advanced his academic qualifications with an ECFMG certification from USA, FCPS Internal medicine (CPSP), FPSIM (PSIM) and   FRCP (Royal college of Physicians London) demonstrating versatile academic credentials.

Dr. Akmal Faiz Bhatty brings over a vast teaching experience to Qarshi University, which includes an extensive background instructing at prestigious institutions such as Punjab Medical college, Sheikh Zayed PGMI, Allama Iqbal Medical College, Central Park Medical College and Sharif Medical & Dental College, Lahore.

His distinguished roles include serving as Medical Director and faculty member Medicine at Sharif Medical and Dental college, Director General of Medical Services and Advisor at Water & Power Development Authority (WAPDA), Pakistan. His contributions to healthcare policy, advanced medical facility development with international collaborations highlight his commitment to advancing the medical field. At Qarshi University, he continues to lead with a vision for excellence in integrated medical education and practice.
