Professor Dr. Adil Hussain Haider is the Dean of the Medical College at Aga Khan University (AKU) in Pakistan. An alumnus of AKU's MBBS Class of 1998, he furthered his education with a Master of Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Haider is a distinguished trauma and acute care surgeon, recognized for his pioneering research on healthcare disparities, particularly in trauma care. His previous roles include serving as Director of the Center for Surgery and Public Health at Brigham and Women's Hospital and holding faculty positions at Johns Hopkins University. In 2017, he was honored with the Ellis Island Medal of Honor for his contributions to medicine and public service
